About
It is set in Miami, Florida, which the update presents as ground zero of the outbreak, and introduces a new cast of characters. You can dispose of infected suspects by feeding them to the sharks. Mutations of the virus are part of the investigation, and the goal is to follow the infection to where it began. You also keep the checkpoint running and recruit survivors who can help repair a damaged luxury yacht, your route out of the city. The update launched on October 15, 2026, after the base game's Windows release on January 12, 2026 and its Xbox Series X|S version on July 15, 2026.
