About
You play V, a mercenary with cyberware, who is forced to carry a biochip that holds the engram of Johnny Silverhand, a rocker-turned-terrorist with the voice of Keanu Reeves. The action is seen from a first-person perspective, the two main play styles are Netrunner for hacking and Solo for combat, and a life path of Nomad, Street Kid or Corpo sets V's background. Windows, PlayStation 4, Stadia and Xbox One versions arrived in December 2020, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S versions followed in February 2022, and macOS came in July 2025. A free Edgerunners 2 Update for PlayStation 5, with content inspired by Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2, adds a new quest and a Dual Wielding playstyle.
